In the days of old, when life was much more primitive and Indians roamed the Americas, our creator gave balance and order through a philosophy of karma. For the pure of heart, life was filled with joy, prosperity, and love; but for the corrupt, Cherokee legend spoke of the Uhktena.
The Uhktena was a mysterious winged creature that roamed the under belly of the earth, coming to the surface to cleanse it of evil ("As you sow, so shall you reap" - Galatians VI, King James Version). As time evolved, man's laws and justice came to rule the land, and the Uhkenta were all but forgotten.
Present day: A group of troubled teens living in a small midwestern town are busy living their lives with ill repute, unchallenged by authority and everyday their evil acts are getting worse.
Finally, one of their own peers, a beautiful young Christian girl, is brave enough to intervene, but when she begs them to repent for their deeds, they decide to remove the obstacle: her.
But now the kids have gone too far, and the Uhktena will rise once again to cleanse the earth of its malevolence.
