Glen Hartford - Chairman/CEO
Los Angeles-born film and television entrepreneur Glen Hartford has been in the business for thirty years, beginning his entertainment career as a child actor with leading roles in the 1971 features Specter of Edgar Allan Poe and Flight from Terror. He later starred in Monster (1980) with the legendary John Carradine, and took a leading role in the 1985 actioner Hell Squad (MGM), directed by his father, Academy award-winning filmmaker Ken Herts.
In 1990 Hartford opened Conversions Plus, a post-production company offering audio, editing, telecine, duplication, and masters conversion services. In 1993 he sold the company to Starcom Multimedia, retaining the audio post division, as GM Studios, serving many prominent clients including, 20th Century Fox, Playboy, Walt Disney Studios and New Regency Films.
Simultaneously, Mr. Hartford created R.A.M.M. Entertainment, a production and distribution company marketing diverse television and feature film titles to companies such as 20th Century Fox, HBO and Showtime. In 2001, Mr. Hartford produced the award-winning wildlife documentary series Saving the Endangered Species(26 half-hour episodes).
In June of 2000, Hartford, together with former Keller Entertainment executive Cord Douglas, founded Cinamour Entertainment. The following year Mr. Hartford along with Mr. Douglas developed a co-production with Discovery Communications to create the 3-part series, HAUNTED HOTELS. Cinamour has grown rapidly since its inception, offering a large, diverse slate of titles including the #1 reality series in U.S. syndication, CHEATERS, over 300 episodes of the popular variety series SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO, as well as feature films including 1999 with Jennifer Garner and Amanda Peet, and several documentary programs co-produced with Discovery Communications. Cinamour's programming can be seen by over a billion viewers in 85 countries around the world. In May of 2004 Cinamour completed production on its feature film FORBIDDEN WARRIOR. And in June of 2007 Cinamour completed production on its award winning feature film, FROM MEXICO WITH LOVE, starring new comer Kuno Becker and veteran actors Bruce McGill and Steven Bauer.
Daniel Toll, Esq.- President
In 1977 Daniel Toll began working at Warner Brothers Records in the Creative Services Department. During that time and up through 1979 Mr. Toll managed musical acts and assisted in producing record albums. Because he had a desire to learn and become more involved in the business end of the entertainment industry, Mr. Toll commenced his studies at Western State University, College of Law and after graduating in 1982 began practicing law. Since then Mr. Toll has represented production companies, distributors, actors, directors and producers performing both transactional work and litigation.
In the early 1990's Mr. Toll first began representing Glen Hartford and his various business entities including, GM Studios, R.A.M.M. Entertainment and Cinamour Entertainment. In 1998 Mr. Toll, along with Mr. Hartford formed Day & Date Post Production Services, L.L.C. which performed post production sound editing and mixing for films and television shows. Day & Date's clients included Miramax Films where it performed total sound replacement services on films starring, among others, Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Chow Yun-Fat.
In 1999, Mr. Toll became heavily involved in Cinamour's productions, including "Saving the Endangered Species" project where he produced, along with Mr. Hartford, 26 episodes of the award winning documentary program and a 3 part series coproduction with Discovery Communications called, "Haunted Hotels."
In 2004, Mr. Toll was an Executive Producer for Discovery's FitTV, "Guru2Go" and Court TV's, "29 Minutes and Counting." That same year Mr. Toll served as producer on the feature film "Forbidden Warrior."
In 2006, Mr. Toll produced, along with Glen Hartford, "From Mexico With Love."
Cord Douglas - President, Distribution
Mr. Douglas began his career as a production associate with director, John Badham (Saturday Night Fever, War Games)in 1991. From 1991 to 1993 he worked for various film and television production companies including producer Lauren Weissman's company Danika Productions (The Vanishing, Dance With Me), director Peter Chelsom's Sun Trust Entertainment (Here My Song, Funny Bones) and the H.N. Swanson Agency.
In 1993, Mr. Douglas joined Keller Entertainment Group, Inc. as a sales executive. During his six and a half year tenure, he exploited the Keller library (14 movies / 75 eps. of television), and pre-sold several first run live-action television series including Acapulco H.E.A.T., Conan, and Tarzan: The Epic Adventures.
In 1995, Keller Entertainment named Mr. Douglas, Vice President, Sales and Acquisitions, and he responded by acquiring new programs for distribution such as the music series Showtime at the Apollo, the children's adventure series Cyberkidzand the controversial reality series, Cheaters.
In June of 1999, Mr. Douglas left Keller Entertainment Group to launch Douglas Entertainment Associates, Inc., a distribution company located in Malibu, California. His first projects included the independent feature film, Baggage(which he executive produced and distributed), as well as documentary specials such as Iditarod... A Far Distant Placeand Marshall Arisman: Facing the Audience.
In June of 2000, Mr. Douglas joined forces with Glen Hartford to found Cinamour Entertainment LLC. Since that time, in the capacity of President of Distribution, he has been responsible for the sales of Cinamour's rapidly expanding slate of programming, including the feature films, Forbidden Warrior, starring Marie Matiko (Art of War), Tony Amendola (Blow), 1999, starring Jennifer Garner (Alias), Amanda Peet (Whole Nine Yards), and documentaries such as Discovery's Haunted Hotels, Deadly Beautyand the award winning series, Saving the Endangered Species.
In 2001, Mr. Douglas arranged for the aquisition of successful programs he originally distributed while at Keller Entertainment such as the reality series Cheaters, which made its debut as the #1 rated new reality series in U.S. syndication, and It's Showtime at the Apollo, which has just entered its 15th successful season on U.S. television.
